Recipe – Low Fat, Low Calorie Stuffed red peppers

Wed This recipe is a great way to eat delicious food and still on your diet, especially because they both fat and calories is. If you pepper as much as I love, you will surely like this recipe. Another advantage of the meal, peppers are very good for you because it not only in healthy vitamins and minerals, they are also a good source of antioxidants. A very nice side dish that would compliment the peppers could be a green salad, which would still be low fat and low calorie items that prescription.

Low Fat, Low Calorie Stuffed red peppers

Ingredients

8 ounces extra-low-fat meat, 2 large red bell pepper, 2 oz long grain rice, 1 small onion, 1 tsp mixed herbs, 1 tablespoon dried mint, ½ pint of chicken broth.

Preparation

Make up the stock market, in slices, cut the top of the peppers and remove the croaks hold both the top and body of the bell pepper, finely chopped onion

Method. – For 2

Heat a non stick pan on cook over medium heat and low-fat ground beef without using grease or oil, until brown, then remove and set aside. Place the chopped onion to the pan and cook just adding small amounts of water until begins, soft, return the beef to the pan and add the mint, mixed herbs and chicken broth, then cook until the mixture is quite dry. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

While the low-fat meat and onions cook, cook long grain rice, but not too much to lay the rice should be cooked, however, and then put aside. Place the peppers and remove the tips in boiling water for about five or six minutes and keep aside. Once everything is put rice and low fat meat mixture into a bowl and mix together cooked, add salt if needed. Fill the peppers with the mixture and place the lid on the top. Stand peppers in a shallow dish or on a baking sheet to cook and serve in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes, and then.

My wife and I normally eat this recipe on its own because it’s pretty satisfying meal considering it low in calories and low in fat and the whole meal is only 350 calories per person and no fat.
