NASA will select Venus, asteroids or the moon


Institutions outside the United States Space NASA will select three projects space Venus, asteroids and the moon to travel to the next solar system. Decisions will be taken in mid 2011 and will be rolled at least December 30, 2018. This project will cost at least U.S. $ 650 million. This proposal will explore Venus surface to measure the atmosphere and the composition of mineral-forming elements in order to understand why Venus is different from the earth.

Spacecraft to Venus is called Geochemical Surface and Atmosphere Explorer or SAGE. While the proposal would send the asteroid spacecraft to the asteroid to measure and collect more than 2 ounces of material to help researchers better understand our solar system. Spacecraft that is used is called the Origins Spectral Interpretation regolith Security Identification Resource Explorer spacecraft, or abbreviated as Osiris-Rex.
