Designers Iceland create ring greenest


A collection of designer is jewelry ring out the most 'green'. Instead of using precious stones, the ring carrying live plants that grows in it.

Stainless steel ring that has a small moss Iceland plants that sprouted in it. The ring was said to be a 'clash of jewelry and gardening'.

Moss in the ring needs water as other plants and, if treated, designer Hafsteinn Juliusson said that the plant can live for up to six months.

Plants in the ring not have to be cut because according Juliusson moss growing so slowly.

"But this growing jewelry needs to be treated. The owner must provide water regularly and keep it like other plants. It is up to them to ensure that the jewelry was well maintained," said Juliusson.

Male 23 years old, said the ring is designed for residents of the city and describes the nature of human intimacy.

"I like to approach the design of new perspectives and achieve a variety of people," he said.

"I want to get involved with the community, ecology, and I try to avoid the mainstream of mass production.

Juliusson, from Reykjavik Iceland's pricing each ring has a 485 pound moss.
