Department stores in Japan are usually flooded with middle-aged woman who fought to discount Glassware or washing machine. But it can be solved by a robot. In an effort to deal with the mass of buyers Tokyo, Takashimaya department store Decided to use a robot named wistful.
Sayu was developed by Hiroshi Kobayashi of Tokyo University of Science degree in 2004 and culminated recently in Tokyo primary school. Robot teacher is able to capture a copy of the notes and the student's homework and other commands. Melancholic robots then began to be employed at Takashimaya in Ginza where she sat at the table stores information. During a week in October, a robot that treated the buyer is very different from the shop assistant.
Melancholic robots were able to respond to inquiries and complaints from buyers in over 700 different ways, directing them to the relevant floor and pleasantries. But the robot was still often glaucous confused with the simplest of questions. Sayu like directing visitors to the toilet when requested is elsewhere.
